Car’s fixed. Starter was replaced, and everything is running fine now. I fixed my PS2’s DRE problem (and didn’t even require a tiny screwdriver), so I can actually PLAY my PSX/PS2 games again. Go me!
Stressful week, not going to go into it. It was just… stressful.
I need some fiberfill for the Frog Beanie (Ravelry link) [...]
So they’re firing up the large hadron collider (which I always say as “hardon” in my head, haw haw). Somewhere, in the back of my mind, I’m half-expecting a Half-Life sort of scenario akin to when you push the sample into the testing chamber array. Resonance cascades? Temporal rifts? Opening a gateway into a sub-dimension [...]
Sometimes I worry about myself. I worry about the fact I enjoy drawing horrible creatures that make people go, “Wow, that’s scary/strange/gross/horrifying.” But I do love it so~
And Nate said to me yesterday (well, technically it was the day before yesterday) after he got his 1920’s dapper gentleman haircut, “Hey, draw me a Deep One.” [...]
As I mentioned before, I roleplay online. I was previously doing it at Roleplay Gateway, but Nate and I decided we weren’t a good fit there and decided to move operations to a smaller venue until we figured out just how we were gonna swing our project. Kind of like moving to closed alpha test [...]
It seems my mouse might be on its last legs. For some reason, the left click tends to wonk out fairly often and even if I only click once, or hold it down, it will take it upon itself to automatically double click, which leads to frustrating results.
I’ve been having issue opening windows, programs, switching [...]
That’s what I received yesterday: a cardboard tube. What was inside? Well, that requires a tiny backstory…
Once upon a time (back in June of this year), I joined a little site called Roleplay Gateway. Yes, now it’s time for me to admit my horribly shameful secret… I do text-based roleplay. All original characters and fully [...]
My PS2’s disc read error issue has gotten worse; I now cannot play ANY DISC that I put into the console, for gaming or otherwise. That sucks like nothing else, even though I have a DVD player that’s separate so I can still watch movies.
I now need to crack the sucker open and mess with [...]
If anyone tried to access any part of my site or a sub-site on the skogul.net domain in the last 48 hours and got a 404 error, that’s because I’m in the process of moving my operations to a new host.
I’d been with DreamHost for 2 years, and despite a few problems (none of which [...]
Since I’ve really started crocheting (and slowly learning to knit), I’ve only ever bought yarn from places like Michaels, Joann’s and Walmart, because they were close and affordable.
I did some looking on google eventually for a proper LYS (Local Yarn Shop/Store) and found one called The Wool Patch in Middleboro, right down route 28. I [...]
It’s true. Nothing gets me giggling aloud when I play a game more than absurd (and decidedly non-obtrusive) graphics glitches. If they impede my ability to enjoy the game, that’s another matter entirely, but so far these have just been wholly cosmetic.
In other news, the semester is now officially over and I’m making slow but [...]
