Following on the mention of my days on Ragnarok Online in the last post, I’ve just discovered that iRO’s Sakray server will be shut down toward the end of next month.
I started out on iRO on Loki, but eventually made my home on Sakray. I met a lot of awesome people there and had some great times. I got my rogue to level 97, and got my FS Priest to level 84 before I finally quit RO entirely.
Hearing that the server has essentially gone down the toilet in the last two years since I left is disappointing, and the news that it will be removed entirely is only moreso. Thanks to my friend Mesna, I’ve been directed to a survey that will give me 15 days free on my lapsed account. I’ll be using this in the near future to allow myself one more adventure on Sakray before it goes down for good.

I’ve been an addict player of ragnarok philippines waay back in high school, about 5 years ago. I quit 3 years ago and haven’t had any news from it since. I must admit, it was fun.

I haven’t heard of that game before.I cannot believe how many rpg games there is online.It must be very very expensive to keep up the servers.

I think I’d blow a fuse if someone told me they was removing the server I play on.. So much work down the pan! Hope you enjoy the time you have left
